Purple Bush, 50cm Silk Scarf

Like looking through a stained glass window — if the window was designed by someone with a very particular eye for colour.

"Purple Bush" began as an oil painting, created in 2020. The original canvas had the same jewel-toned energy: deep blues, crimson, teal, blush, all separated by dark outlines that hold each shape in place like lead in glass. Translated onto silk, the colours gain a new luminosity — they shift with the light, they glow.

Look closely and you’ll find blueberries hidden in the motif, tucked between leaves. Most people don’t notice them at first.
