Care Instructions

Ideally, silk does not require frequent washing. In most cases, airing your scarf from time to time is sufficient to keep it fresh. Regular washing is not recommended, as it may affect the natural fibers and sheen of the fabric.

If your scarf has a significant stain or spill, professional dry cleaning is recommended. However, for a light refresh, gentle hand washing at home is acceptable. Please follow the instructions below:

Hand Washing Instructions

  • Fill a clean basin with cool or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water.
  • Add a small amount of mild detergent, such as a gentle shampoo or a detergent specifically designed for silk.
  • Submerge the scarf and gently swirl it in the water for a few moments. Do not rub, wring, or scrub.
  • Allow it to soak for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly with cool water until all detergent is removed.
  • Gently press out excess water. Do not twist or wring the fabric.
  • Lay the scarf flat on a clean towel and carefully roll the towel to absorb remaining moisture.
  • Reshape the scarf and allow it to dry flat on a clean towel, away from direct sunlight or direct heat sources.

Please avoid machine washing, tumble drying, and the use of harsh chemicals. Proper care will help maintain the silk’s natural softness, shine, and longevity.
